"Looking back. My first task in 2023 was to rework this painting a little. Based in a Roman gallery, adorned with Norfolk pamments, the composition depicts childhood wonderment and the power of paintings. The top right ripple emanates from a portrait of Maria De'Medici, originally by Bronzini."
